Thurmaston Military Indexes

The Thurmaston Military Indexes website is steadily growing with new
information, with lists of Thurmaston Service People of the Great War
1914-1918 and the 1939-1945 War.
A new book is now available that tells the history of a Thurmaston family's
experience of the war, entitled Our Vic - The story of a
Leicestershire sailor the book contains many references to
Thurmaston people, including a full listing of the war dead of the village,
several of whom are not commemorated locally. The website gives full details
of the book.
