• 2007/8 Poppy Appeal Collections

The 2007/8 Poppy Appeal collection has gone extremely well; thanks to the hard working efforts of Angie and her team Thurmaston has raised over £15,000 for the Poppy Appeal. A record collection for the branch.

A great big thank you to all in the team and to the warm hearted generosity of the people of Thurmaston. THANKS!

Angie hosted a Poppy Appeal Presentation evening on the 14th June and handed out certificates and pins in recognition of the hard work carried out over many years by the dedicated team of poppy collectors. A well deserved THANK YOU to each and every one of you.

POPPY APPEAL COMMITTEE - the next meeting will be held in the club on the 1st September.
